'We do not use technology for the sake of it. We only use it if it makes an impact to teaching and learning. It must be relevant, meaningful and give teachers back their time.'
WHO ARE WE?
Our team is made up of creative specialists who want to work alongside staff to develop engaging, relevant and meaningful content. We want to work with staff to prepare their students for the skills that industry demands, as well as helping to bridge the gap between college, HE and employment.
OUR AIMS
Our aim is to prepare students for employment and industry demands. We do this by working alongside staff to help them integrate digital skills into lessons and promoting their expert knowledge. This includes: IT skills, research skills, online safety, digital reputation, project based learning, flipped learning and e-portfolio work.
01
To receive constant feedback from staff and students to improve the delivery of content.
02
Streamline workflow to give teachers back more time to try new tools and techniques.
03
Provide personalised coaching to staff across all areas of the college
04
Encourage staff to share and collaborate (internally and externally) to improve practices.
05
Always be lead by the peadagogy and needs of the students.

Vikki Soanes
